OMIGOSH how I hate that green shit. I opened up the package and it got EVERYWHERE and then it was all itchy. It reminded me of the time I was a kid and was pulling out the spun cotton glass from the middle of an old crimmas tree topper to see how the lighting worked. It got into my skin and itched like a sonofagun for days. Yeah I was stupid then and oh look I’m an adult and make stupid choices still lol.

I don’t recall posting this earlier but I just found the rough first sketch of the Apple/Turbo Kid papercraft I did not too long ago. It’s kinda fun to see what changed and what stayed pretty much the same.

Half my idea process is planning it and the other half is coming up with changes as I go and get a feel for the design and the media.

I sketched in ballpoint pen for this one.

Here’s Elvira; Mistress of the Dark, a papercraft sculpture for The Big Top of Wonder show at The Pinup Girl Boutique in Burbank, CA.

It was tricky to photograph this piece without a lot of reflection because it was a dark papercraft, lol. It measures 6″x14″ and includes a tiny jeweled dagger on her belt!
